Starting this year Telekom Romania is official partner of the Romanian National Rugby Team, following a two-year partnership with the Romanian Rugby Federation. Also, Telekom Sport channels continue to exclusively broadcast the matches of the National Rugby Team.

The Romanian National Rugby Team is part of the select category of the 12 representatives who participated in all the Rugby World Cup since the first edition in 1987 until now. In recent years, the Rugby National Team has been growing steadily. In 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2016, the Oaks won the Nations Cup organized annually in Bucharest at the Arc of Triumphe Stadium, a competition that gathers the best rugby teams worldwide that are placed in the second division, but also the second teams of the first division. Each year, the Romanian team improved its game, meeting teams such as Scotland, South Africa, France, Italy, Georgia, Portugal, Russia, Namibia, Uruguay. The performance of the Romanian representative culminated in 2017, when the Oaks won the title of European champions.

The Oaks’ supporters will be able to watch the coming major matches of the Romanian National Rugby Team, which will be braodcasted live and exclusively on Telekom Sport channels:

• Romania – Germany, 10th of February 2018, match in Cluj;
• Spain - Romania, 18th of February 2018, match in Madrid;
• Romania – Russia, 3rd of March 2018, match in Cluj;
• Romania – Belgium, 10th of March 2018, match in Buzău;
• Georgia – Romania, 18th of March 2018, at Tbilisi.
