Károly Borbély has an experience of over 12 years in the institutional environment, his role being to develop and implement the public affairs strategy of Telekom Romania group of companies, especially to ensure a transparent and constant communication with the governmental institutions and local authorities. In his previous positions, he led the listing project of Hidroelectrica, was part of the team who listed the company Electrica to the Stock Exchanges in Bucharest and London, respectively coordinated the network of commercial attachés of Romania from over 80 countries. Between December 2007 – December 2008 he was the Minister of Communications.
